Managing Director Ecorys UK
Michael leads the UK business and is a member of the wider group leadership team which reports into the Board of Management. Michael brings to Ecorys a unique blend of commercial experience, honed in start-ups and small and medium sized enterprises, combined with extensive experience of working with senior industry leaders and governments in the formulation of public policy across the UK.
Head of Data & Intelligence Division
Karina leads the Data & Intelligence Division at Oxford Intelligence and oversees the development of a new investment products and services. Her main focus is to streamline the sourcing of data to supply the company’s information products and internal needs and to provide data for a wide range of client projects.
She has now been with the company for nine years, working on both the EIM and subsequently Global Investment Monitor (GIM) as an analyst, she also continues to head up UKTI Inward Investment projects and manage a diverse range of contracts.
Andrew Clutz is responsible for Oxford Intelligence’s Americas operations and is based in the company’s Boston office. He understands the challenges facing economic development organizations from his 20 years experience. Areas of expertise include investment promotion, site selection, trade development, strategic partnering and market intelligence.
His project work has covered a range of segments and disciplines, from financial services strategy to institutional marketing, and from site selection project management to web site product development.
Corporation Location Manager
Oliver was recruited by Oxford Intelligence in 2013 to support the company’s Head of Corporation Location in delivering a lead generation service to clients.
Prior to joining Oxford Intelligence, Oliver had four years’ experience in FDI, working for economic development consultancy IBDG, where he was responsible for project managing lead generation campaigns for clients such as Invest in Essex, the Welsh Government, East of England Development Agency, New York State Development, Invest in Iceland, Copenhagen Capacity and Capexil India.
Oliver has detailed knowledge and experience of attracting FDI leads from Europe and North America to both established and challenging markets.
Catriona Riley joined Oxford Intelligence in 2015 and is now the Senior Analyst responsible for the USA, UK and Central Europe. She holds the Production Manager role for the Global and European Investment Monitors, the global business information databases supplied to Ernst & Young annually and contributes to the daily online Newswire subscription service. Catriona is also jointly responsible for the development of new data input strategies and products, including the soon-to-be-launched Global Investor Watch website.
Catriona has over ten years’ research experience in the corporate finance sector and previously worked for the global accountancy firm BDO, where she developed research methodologies for the North West Corporate Finance research team and amongst other responsibilites, led the research element of all Merger & Acquisition client projects.
Senior Analyst and Team Leader
Marie Moore started working as a Research Analyst at Oxford Intelligence in July 2015 and focuses on expansion projects for the regions of Latin America, Africa, Middle East and part of Europe (Baltic, Nordic and Western).
Her main duties include writing articles for Global Investor Watch and researching as well as updating FDI investment projects for the company’s database. She also assists with research for the lead generation team.
Senior Analysts and Team Leader – Asia Pacific
Gary joined Oxford Intelligence as a Research Analyst in 2013 to cover the Asia Pacific region for the Global Investment Monitor.
He is responsible for researching news sources and identifying and verifying FDI projects for the database. Gary is also involved in contributing daily to Global Investor Watch, a global trade and investment news service, covering news for the Asia Pacific region. In addition, he has assisted UKTI in a number of projects for the East Asia region, such as identifying smart city opportunities in China and assisting in building a database of e-commerce websites in China and Taiwan.
Business Development Manager
Pollyanna has worked for Oxford Intelligence for the past 8 years, growing its global client base through building strong relationships and providing agencies with the best intelligence products and services to support their investment promotion activities. Pollyanna has also organised numerous successful Oxford Intelligence/EDA networking events in London, Paris, New York and The Hague.
Prior to Oxford Intelligence, Pollyanna worked for a Press Agency developing sponsorships for detailed Country Investment Reports for Fortune Magazine, establishing business relationships with corporate CEO’s, political leaders and Heads of States in Malaysia, Indonesia and Mongolia.
Head of Business Systems
David Jackson has worked for Oxford Intelligence for two years and is responsible for all back office systems and database requirements for Oxford Intelligence. He has built the extensive CRM system for the company and replicates this functionality for bespoke CRM systems available to Economic Development Authorities.
Prior to Oxford Intelligence, David spent 12 years in the Royal Air Force working on highly complex and mission critical systems as an electronics technician. As systems became more and more computerised, he moved into the software world. Within the RAF he has used a number of computer languages and many bespoke databases.
Daniela Hallett has been a research analyst with Oxford Intelligence since 2005 and works with the data and lead generation teams, with a focus on Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the DACH region.
She has been involved in the production of sectoral reports, providing essential insights into future globalisation of business by sector and location through in-depth analysis based on primary research with CEO-level participants, expert desk research and corporate location benchmarking. Daniela has also played a key role in researching the European Investment Monitor, a business information tool from Ernst & Young.
A native German speaker, Daniela is also fluent in English.

Randi Hicks-Rowe has been an Oxford Intelligence analyst and contributor since 1998 and is now one of our senior research analysts. Based in the USA, she has extensive experience in lead generation, research, writing and public relations working mainly across EMEA and the Americas.
She previously worked as an executive in a US Fortune 500 company and has a master of business administration degree from the College of William and Mary in the United States.

Philip Johnson has been an In-Market Analyst for Oxford Intelligence for over 15 years working on international development projects. Having previously lived and worked in Germany as an Executive Search Consultant, his main focus is on liaising with German speaking and UK based companies interested in global expansion and matching them with the most approapriate regional development authority.
A native English speaker, Philip is also fluent in German.
Jenny Jones has been an In-Market Analyst for Oxford Intelligence for over 15 years working on international development projects. Her main focus is on liaising with European based companies interested in global expansion and matching them with the most approapriate regional development authority.
Jenny has also written many articles for the former IPA World product, now relaunched as Global Investor Watch.
Peter works with national, regional and city economic development agencies worldwide to improve and sustain their inward investment competitiveness and performance. From 1996 until 2007 he was the Marketing Director of the UK Government’s national inward investment agency (later to become UK Trade & Investment).
